Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) mandated by Yoga Certification Board (YCB), Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, for candidates appearing in remote online proctored theory and live video practical assessments.
Regulatory Compliance & Authenticity Notice
This document details the complete examination protocol adapted for Online Mode as per YCB regulations. Strict adherence to technical prerequisites, room environment, identity verification, and exam ethics is mandatory for all candidates. Violations will lead to automatic disqualification.
Before Exam (7 Days Prior)
Registration Verification, Admit Card & Technical Preparation1. Registration & Eligibility
- Registration on the official YCB portal through Ekam Yoga Care PrCB.
- Ensure prerequisite criteria are met: Minimum age, educational qualification, and requisite course duration:

β’ YWI (Level 2): Min. 400 Hours course
β’ YTE (Level 3): Min. 800 Hours / Yoga Degree
2. Admit Card Verification
- Receive Admit Card on registered email & YCB Dashboard.
- Carefully cross-check:

Laptop / Desktop with HD Web Camera & Mic. Mobile phones are STRICTLY NOT allowed for Theory Exam.
High-speed broadband / 4G connection (minimum 10 Mbps+ recommended). Keep power & hot-spot backup ready.
Latest Google Chrome browser. Install Safe Exam Browser / YCB Exam App as instructed and complete system compatibility test.

Theory Exam β Online Proctored
AI & Live Remote Invigilated Multiple Choice AssessmentLogin 30 Mins Prior
Access the exam portal exactly 30 minutes before your slot using your YCB Enrollment Number and DOB / Secure Password.
Biometric & ID Upload
Complete live facial photo verification and upload / present original Govt. Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card / Passport / Voter ID).
Pattern & Timer
Duration: 2 Hours (120 Mins). 1 mark per MCQ. No negative marking (unless specified). Submit before countdown timer ends. No re-login once submitted.
π« Proctored Discipline & Anti-Cheating Rules
- Isolation: No other person is permitted inside the examination room.
- Materials: No books, notebooks, handwritten notes, smartwatch, or headphones/earbuds allowed.
- Camera View: Face and eyes must remain clearly visible, centered, and well-illuminated throughout.
- Zero Tab Switching: Navigating away from the exam tab, opening apps, or dual monitors triggers alerts. Auto-submission occurs upon 3 warnings.
β‘ Disconnection & Technical Contingency SOP
- If internet drops or power disconnects, do not panic.
- Immediately inform PrCB coordinator via phone: +91-7073666128.
- Re-join within 10 minutes: The exam will safely resume from the exact question and remaining time left on your session clock.
- Repeated or prolonged interruptions without prior intimation will be treated as invalid attempts.

Evaluation Table B.7 Breakdown & Demonstration ProtocolsJoin the Google Meet / Zoom link 15 mins prior to your batch time (Batches of 10β15 students). Keep your camera ON at all times.
Proper Yoga Attire (Track pants/leggings & fitted t-shirt; no loose/baggy clothes). Keep Admit Card & Govt. ID ready to display.
Place camera at 6β8 feet distance at waist height. Full body must be visible from head to toe during standing, sitting, prone, & supine postures.

β Mandatory Practical Do's
- Adjust camera to side view when instructed for spinal alignment verification.
- Speak clearly and audibly into the microphone during teaching practice.
- Maintain calm composure and graceful entry/exit from postures.
- Acknowledge examiner's instructions promptly.
β Critical Practical Don'ts
- Do not read from notes or cheat sheets placed off-camera.
- Do not engage proxy demonstrators or allow any assistant into the room.
- Do not argue with or interrupt the examiners during evaluation.
- Do not turn off camera or mute unless requested by the lead examiner.
After Exam β Results & Reappear Policy
Certification Issuance, Verification & Re-Examination WindowResult Declaration (15β21 Days)
Assessment marks from the Theory System and Practical Examiner Panel are compiled, moderated, and published on the official YCB portal and Ekam Yoga Care Dashboard within 15β21 working days.
1-Year Reappear Facility
If a candidate fails in only one part (either Theory OR Practical), they do NOT need to re-attempt the entire examination:
- Eligible to reappear only for the failed part.
- Validity of passed part: 1 Year from examination date.
- Concessional reappear fee applies as per the official fee schedule.
